Sponsored by Highmark Health and powered by Communities In Schools of Pennsylvania (CISPA), the Harrisburg Bike Share program provides Harrisburg residents with a cost-effective and eco-friendly transportation alternative.
The program is unique in that it’s mission is philanthropic. The Harrisburg Bike Share was launched by Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania (CISPA), the Commonwealth’s largest dropout prevention organization, to benefit students in the Central Pennsylvania area.
Funded by business, government and community sponsors, 93% of revenue generated by the program goes back to CISPA, helping them serve nearly 50,000 students and their families in the state of Pennsylvania. CISPA’s mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life - and the Harrisburg Bike Share helps make that possible.
